Waitomo GlowWorm Caves.
Having done the tour nearest the visitor centre I was severely miffed when arriving at the cave entrance to be confronted with a No Photography sign. Okay I can see the reason for no flash photography – but I hadn’t planned on using flash.
However when enquiring at the desk the second tour (RuaKuri) which is about a 5 minute journey away allowed photography except when there was blue lights (due to boaters below in the caves).A much better tour – if you want to photograph caves – this is the one for you don’t waste your time or money on the other if you want to take away photographs.
